Great artists and friends Makunouchi Bento (ogredung, miasmah, one, kikapu) are back at camomille with what we think is their best work to date. Lament of the fishing robot ep is motion and color captured and translated into sound. It is immersing in its great musical and emotional depth and in its force of character. These 10 minutes of music serve greatly to prove our point, Makunouchi Bento are left unscathed by current trends and continue to do what they do best, all the while evolving into different entities as time goes by. On this ep they explore more cinematic themes; as you listen to the ep, you feel like you're following a script of tones and waves. A somewhat liquid combat between winter-time coldness and atmospheres filled of akward beauty. This ep serves as the conceptual follow up to their release on arhiva7 and contains beautiful art by Santiago Morilla (cover) and Andrei Dorokhin (bonus art). A wonderfull release by our romanian friends, Makunouchi Bento.
Today we are offering the second full-length album from Vancouver's ambient wunderkind, souns, in the form of a three-track, 74-minute epic titled 'scenarios for the real self.' This album was originally released on souns' own Breaking Tension Music in a limited-edition run, but now we've opened the release up to the net.label scene to make sure that everyone experiences this amazing piece of work.
Our resident Lithuanian artist, migloJE, returns with some more enchanting and subtle sounds. similar to his previous ep released a few months ago on kahvi, linear emotions builds on more of the ambient side of things with amazing textures and a production quality on a par with 'the professionals'. Once again his chatter semi-glitch ideology makes an appearance, but for a ride with a difference give linear emotions a few listens, each time you'll find something refreshing and new.
Heres ANOTHER 23 minutes from Techbots deranged mind and garbage can. I'll be yo dog (sirius mix) Freq Da Funk Plundered Part 1 + 2 Think Halle Louie Breaking Balls Defect Trixx remix Con Carne I'll be yo Dog was posted at the Auditorium a few months ago. THe rest are new except for Trix remix a piece done by myself and another Rob when we played in Galway as the Beat Freqs. These tunes are probably a bit heavier and dirtier than the previous mix and include an attempt at more sample-glitch. www.eclecticmeme.com/mp3.htm
Quiet since the 'assembly 04' jscript demo, moonove's back with a very cool EP. Consider this EP like a moment of peace. Bright pads and delayed acid tiny sounds. Structed and destructured beats. Slow motions and evolving sounds. Have a look at it.
5 synth loving impulse tracker romps through the banging to chill sides of pure techno. Enjoy.
2 track IDM guest release Magenta Moon EP on enoughrecords by Florida resident Line Noise, known for his work under his netlabel Lacedmilk Tech.
