Alpination is officially the 3rd compilation from alpinechic, representing fresh beats and fun pop tunes from Switzerland. Not being biased within genres or images, but only concerning the unity of all fine underground sound makers in Switzerland- that 's what this compilation is for. starting from idm, techno pop, trip-hop, to downtempo, and etc being all together in one album, you will be surprised to hear how they are so smoothly laid 'til the very end, not to mention you won 't get tired of listening to same thing all the way through.
Hi there, The Peppermill just finished its first release, basically it's 30 artists that created an album in a month by each making a track in 24 hours on their day, and then passing it on. Like a slskrex massacre-style project. It was a bit of a scheduling nightmare but somehow we pulled it off. Some artists that were involved include Domotic, Venetian Snares, KiloWatts, The Flashbulb, Antenne, Peekay Tayloh and 24 others. Please go have a listen!

[Eqq 004] Votchik - Walleye pollocks On Mars - we suppose this title describes the sense of humour that our next release was made with. Votchik with his EP invites us to 25-minutes journey across his abstract, fairytale land. And his a good guide! What fascinates us in his music is ease and creativity wich he is moving with on Mars planet. Sounds pretend like they were taken from electronic toys and melodies well balanced at the edge of the harmony. The whole thing is spiced with solid rhythmic section and pulsating bass. We're already on hurry to get our luggage packed and we're going out to be first settlers on Votchik's Mars...
