“Human Tracks” is the name for a collection of musical works which has the intention of reflecting the history of the human journey from an alternative point of view. “Heq” is an unforgettable and wonderful novel written by a remarkably good Danish writer called Jørn Riel which was the inspiration for this album, to whom it is dedicated as a little tribute, for the hours of pleasure his literature has generously given to the world.

And what would be better than some folk with a twist of breezy pop?
Well, some toy-folk mixed with spoken words and aerial pop of course!
And here we are, introducing Julian Winter and his debut ep on petitejolie.
Julian is a sweet guy who has a kind of fondness for toy instruments and making sounds out of these poor & left-aside instruments.
Not only the fact he managed to make this ep with some cheap e-guitar and e-bass, a broken microphone and an old keyboard... he even ran into household articles and recorded them.
Thanks to Julian Winter, all these objects can get back to life by being a part of his very nice debut ep, where words are flowing along with soft pads, kitchen goods slowly beating the time behind the guitar arpeggios... where the time stops and let us rest a moment, watching the rain falling, waiting for the sun.

Review: Dedicated to Anastasia's ten-years long best mate Larisa Kozlova, suddenly passed away in 2008, this compilational work concentrates on the themes of the dark nostalgic soul emptiness, which is born instead of something forever lost. It's like when you visit the old home which will be destroyed soon, realizing it's still keeping secrets of families living here for many years before. Larisa always supported Anastasia regarding her creative plans and works, and came with most objective critics. Unfortunately, she will never listen to the Ariu's new soundscapes again, but her image is obviously tracked in every second of this release, which would be probably impossible to achieve other way. If you are not afraid of the very deep self-cycled journey through the time, cogitation and fantasies, here is the door which you'll never close if you are in.
The recording consists of five mixed tracks. The first track describes the peak of human depression, the rejection of reality, and is obviously recorded in the very difficult time of Ariu Kara outliving. Further it reflects to the holes in the space and the time. What could you feel when you know there is no way back? The 3rd track is about walls having memories. Here is how the old house being ruined the next day, would dream about its past. It continues into the collaboration of two independant authors about forms which depict, in their opinion, the "Infinity" term. The final sound painting is inspired under visiting the seaport of Sukhum, Abchasia. 15 years ago during the conflict between Georgia and Abchasia the Georgian aviation ruined set of ships, yachts and pleasure launches. Now it's possible to watch their rusty parts over the water covered with algae and cockleshells of mussels. They already became a new part of the landscape, obtaining the next life....

This is mashed-up post-breakcore/gabber with occidental trumpet solos, screams and growls and a healthy dose of cynicism.
Sadistican Artist Profile: myspace.com/sadistician Breakcore, grind, gabba, black metal and jazz are thrown together and vomited forth in a dark twisted psychedelic fashion using a computer, a trumpet, a microphone and some effects. This makes for hard gabba / breakcore mashup peppered with intertwining minor key synth melodies, interspersed with blasting interjections of digital grind, lounge jazz, grating beatless noise and anything else that seems suitable... Sadistician appears regularly at Nottingham-based hard rinse-out night Rigormortis and has shared stages with the likes of DJ Scotch Egg, Maruosa, NeuTek, Scheme Boy and Koolmorph Widesen.

The premise of the album Insight comes from a possible definition of INSIGHT - An insight is the derivation of a rule which links cause with effect. The mind is a model of the universe built up from insights. - Based on this, Insight was composed using a random process of forward expansion of musical structures, establishing an equilibrium state and jumping to new territory, a different direction than the previous one, leading to insights on different musical styles. It starts with an approach to ambiance, changes to nujazz structures, continues the journey through contemporary music (with the help of Tiago Morgado playing Alto Viola in Track 3) and finishes with an approach to trip hop. The message delivered by the album, the explosion of communication technologies and their reflection on the way we interact with each other, the insights allowed by science and its contradictions.
