"We haven’t much in life, yet we have so much. It is strange how important the small things become. Letters to Kansas City is an ode to H Stewart’s hometown. The songs are written about Kansas City’s neighborhoods, their moods and memories according to H Stewart. The songs were made with a cheap Casio, a used microphone, and a laptop which houses odd programs for sound manipulations. Those things coupled with the memory of home H Stewart create a voiceless album drawing on how little and how much we have in life, and how important it is to be home."

Kilowatts is back - after his highly successfull track featured on Robot Dreams, Kilowatts returns to Kahvi with a six track ep entitled 'six silicates'.
After the pure ambiance of casimirs blake, Six Silicates turns the mood with beat driven electronica/techno, fast paced and dynamic vibes and a definite 'euphoric' theme throughout. A warm and friendly ep to welcome the summer months, listen and enjoy the sun!
Track of choice: Amethyst.
This release sees the new podcast format being used for the first time. Instead of seperate tracks, a single crossfading mix will be put out on the podcast for each release.
If you like this ep, don't forget that you can donate (any amount!) to the artist by clicking 'donate'. Its a small gesture to give something back to the artist for all his hard work in the preparation of this release. (Those who donate will get a link to the FLAC versions of the tracks).
"Exit To Exist" is experimental music project from Minsk, Belarus. It was created in 2007 by Vitovt & Unsound Of Mind. Music combines several stylistic references with dark ambient in it's both visions: "proto- + post-"; using quite large list of instrumental equipment. This first demo/album called "Harbours" is recorded as "live" improvisation with few elements of post-production and arrangement. Seven musical pieces are the way to represesent the inner state of their authors to potential listeners, as the special way of transpersonal communication. In evidence, there is some dual analogy, observed through conception based on the sea's [or ocean... water... harbour... ships... wrecker...] imagery, which evokes truly powerful atmosphere of raoring chaos on one hand and correspond with deep estrangement and melancholy of human being on the other.
Poros is a solo project of Paulo Vicente born in Lisbon (Portugal). Playing bass since 1987. He is also the author of the current xs records [pt netlabel] release, in which ((he presents himself as a one man band show) || (solo)) some sort of symbiosis occur between rock and electronic music, ambient, trip hop and downtempo.
Having such a passion for bass Poros bass leads the way to his admirable world of senses. Every note is played respectfully every chord has a smell, every beat a taste. You can sense different worlds in harmony. And all the other sounds increase this sense of perfume, of exotic nights, of longing for something. Carefully noises and sounds are placed in such a way that brings us closer and closer to desire.
This is we think what Paulo wants to show the world. If the word romantic wouldn't have such a bad implication nowadays we would say that Paulo is one of the ultimate romantics of this world. And this is also what we enjoy in the music we present you, passion and reverence for this language of feelings. Hope you guys enjoy this fine release as much as we enjoyed.

The working method of Portuguese sound artist and folklore researcher Luís Antero is a rapprochement to the tradition of early North-American field collectors and musicologists at the fin-de-siècle. His tripartite montage Big Wheel paints an atmospheric landscape and is also an intense excursion. An absolutely breathtaking and heartfelt recital of traditions and improvisations accompanied by brilliant environmental sounds of water mills in the Coimbra region. The gentle listener will conceive wanderlust and finally, after minutes of pilgrimage, he becomes a resident of a spiritual hermitage and enjoys the light-heartedness of a sober and cloistered life. Antero's Big Wheel is infectious, abducts the listener with ease and is an important contribution to the konkretourist label catalogue.
