In the summer of 2001 Paradigm was formed as a basis for establishing true ‘Found Sound’ music. Something that didn’t fully take form until 2006 when these two British artists finally perfected their material.
A special Genre, the duo states “True sound is something that people need to hear in order to feel the world around us. Really connect with it.” Early recordings featured minimalist acoustic guitar strumming and basically finding any object and recording several sounds from it, even if that object happens to be a pencil.
An intricate and sometimes frustrating recording procedure resulted in “Textured Sound”, a collection of spacious, gnarled and glacial tones and dissonant, melancholy melodies over sparse droning beats, but with a curiously deliberate “broken-ness” to the production.
Paradigm is Dante Knoxx and Zakk Altair.

In this new release by XS Records, Marek is back, this time together with elka brown, who has colaborated in this album with a remix of a song and some more colaborations. Personally, the main difference I see between this and the last album, is basically the production (in terms of mixing and mastering) which is signifcantly better in relation to last one.. also there has started to appear some drum machine components, which give a more rithmic character to visitors that hygh. Marek is a resident at Vombat Radio, where his tracks are featured in the electric city radio show, and which has allowed us to be partners of that radio. Hope you guys enjoy this release as much as we've done.
Here we continue with sampler vol.3 which contains another four tracks from the catalog of Istanbulis online improvised music label "re:konstruKt" run by guitarist Umut Caglar (konstruKt).
"In A Haze" is an EP of lovely dark drones set to sparse, trancey beats.
'The Rhythms of Life' was a book I accidentally ran into at the “Feria Del Libro†of Buenos Aires many years ago. Since the very first moment I was reading its pages thousands of songs began to sound inside me. Suspected answers and new questions appeared in my mind about how things happen in our world through the ages. The rough lines written and left in a drawer for decades fell onto the ground of nowadays technological means and finally grew up into sounds. Here are 21 tracks that made up the first volume.

Since 1994 jmdkm has been active in the arts, particularly in painting, photography and sound. He has been in a self-centered experimenting mode which has possibly gone into a naive approach.
"Start Here" contains 9 tracks on a scale from playful to noisy and it is all about trying to find out where it aches or not, trying to feel where it hurts so good. Taking an electro-acoustic path, with nothing but a dorky drum kit, 2 cheesy toy keyboards and some stomp boxes.
In a way the sounds are a bit "harsh" but the notion throughout "Start Here" has always been melancholic and somewhat poetic...
Xevor has just released "Concept Buildings", the first album from sound artist Adern X. It can be freely downloaded from Xevor site
The three tracks are improvisation (re)constructed and layered. Adern X use, as a building blocks, loops and samples that were manipulated in real time with a style between eai and glitch.
