[BKK004] Eventide - Subalterns e.p. Eventide is an Italian dead band and this promo-cd 'Subalterns' is the last thing that these four guys have done. A few lives shows with some most famous Italian bands as Novembre (Century media rec.) and Ephel Duath (Earache rec.) and an old demo is the only things which we have of band. Three tracks of pure gothic/doom metal with clean and scream vocals, keyboards, clean, distorted and acoustic guitars... a great e.p. Here we can listen some influences of Anathema, My Dying Bride and Amorphis... my favorite song is 'Solstice' with its keys/violins interval. Enjoy! Benekkea

Minus gathers with this release ‘Solar', 7 songs that are evolving in the most quiet and intimate mode, being the description of a late july afternoon, hidden and lost in your bed-sheets, in your lover's arms. It's the hours with your eyes closed, with the most intense laziness in your bones, with your nakedness, with the most naive games and the impossible thoughts. Time goes by slowly, the sun is warming up your feet, scratches your back and tickles your ear. Everything is sweet and warm.
Seems to me that 2005 is the year for strange names and berdz trak certainly lives up to that statement. Anyway, names aside, this four track ep by url (a reincarnation pehaps?) is certainly *just* the Kahvi style that we're all waiting for. Arriving where Esem's release left off, a fantastic aural journey awaits you. Lively, diverse, enjoyable. What more can you ask for? Check out "from my seed she has grown" for one of my favorite tracks of this year.
From the chilly climes of Scotland we present to you Herzog, with the aptly named Autumn Parade EP (fast becoming winter up there, I should imagine!). Continuing the low key electronic feel of the last release, Herzog seems to strip back this sound even more - revealing a minimal, warm and deeply sophisticated sound. Another five tracks here then of the most wonderful electronic music; this is fodder for the cold nights closing in around us.
mark hamn a very "simple" man, studies at the university of lecce (south italy) and is about to graduate in musical heritage. francesco giannico is his real name. on maetrixsolution he prooves once again to be a very good laptop musician. the six-track album on maetrixsolution is something like a cineastic journey which pushes the boundaries of the digital instrument by incorporating smooth melodies and gentle textures even further. the "function button" album - with its typical maetrix front cover - is made mainly by pushing buttons. mark's guitar and piano is constantly present within his interrupted structures, making this album more accessible, yet without any lack of textural innovations. a piece of music which is highly recommended to anyone interested in discovering his work as much as it is a must have for those already in tune with his macromusic.
Noerror is a project born in early 2000. Its first purpose was to relate some of the most famous demoscene music releases, it extended to all the active demoscene netlabels and finally all the netlabels, no disctinction. Just talent and beautiful music is now the word.
