we at foundsound wanted to celebrate the first anniversary of our netlabel unfoundsound by offering something special to everybody who supported us throughout this first year, which saw more than 100 000 tracks downloaded. we asked some of our favorite artists, most of them already recognized and not represented on the netlabel scene, to give us a single track that we would include in a compilation, with an overwhelmingly positive response. we then completed the line-up with several foundsound and unfoundsound artists. and here is the result: 2h 45mn to explore numerous genres of electronic music through 26 tracks, free to download. the best netrelease ever? we don't know. the longest? maybe.
artists present on the compilation: apoll, barem, ben parris, bruno pronsato, butane, dapayk, ezekiel honig, fidget, frivolous, fusiphorm, j. hunsberger, jay haze, jeff milligan, jeremy p. caulfield, krause duo nr.2, mark-henning, miguel tutera, mike uzzi & ben recht, miskate, my my, quenum, sarah goldfarb, socks and sandals, someone else, tleilaxu, vivianne projects

This compilation will feature some of the best known and unknown Swedish electronic acts. This time around we have choosen to limit the disc to somewhat accesible sounds only, but we have to admit there are some heavy stuff on there. Any fan of synth/ebm/electro will without doubt find something of their liking in the 18 tracks portrayed. Note that this release features almost only previously unreleased material. To be released on November 16

we're re-releasing the first backtrack release, a chipdisk, with mp3s so that anyone can hear it, even if they don't have windows OS or know what a module is! we hope that you will, however, investigate module and chipmusic, once you have a taste of this charming bleepy music. artists include 143, arachno, bacter, blot, bzl, ciccilleju, da fear, lithis, little elk, nagz, nim, seablue, technoiZ, valzi, vhiiula, vkm, zabu, and zinger. yes, you should know some of those names. backtrack's first release was a chipdisk for a few reasons. mostly, we thought a huge chipdisk would be a cool way to start with a bang (or at least a few blips.) now, we wonder if we will ever even do another chipdisk. it was great fun, and there was a lot of talent on it. nineteen artists, 29 tunes, and approximately 70.5 minutes of music create an enjoyable time of relaxation.
Noerror is a project born in early 2000. Its first purpose was to relate some of the most famous demoscene music releases, it extended to all the active demoscene netlabels and finally all the netlabels, no disctinction. Just talent and beautiful music is now the word.
