[diginet004] echonomist - looking for an angel ep

"crispy & atmospheric minimal rockers" For his debut outing on digilog, echonomist presents an ep of swinging rhythms, dry percussion and heavy bass drum action. The crunchy beats are complimented by clicky machine sounds, hiccup vocals and dark synthlines, these tracks are designed to make you give in to their flow... Special thanks by the echonomist go to mr lookman for help and additional production on all tracks.

[mi060] : Overdose Kunst - Nonsight-Aural Environmenter

Four tracks were the guitar and the etnic roots (rythm, voice) are the main elements, giving a very "sui generis" soundscape. This surprise comes to us in the third and longest EP track where the guitar is faced and induced in a paranoid arcade game enviroment.

TRACKLIST:

01. Forest voyage
02. Bermuda Triangle weakling song
03. Deemployed
04. Usyuganasime

TRACKS: 04 | TIME: 28'50''

Netlabels / Yahoo group

A new Netlabels group has been created to fill the void created by the removal of the popular old Net_label_releases list. At least we have a better URL this time around.

Netlabel owners, operators, and volunteers are invited to post release information, newsletters, links, etc.

YkYk006: Emmerichk - Nebadon

Emmerichk's music is a wilful mix of sound carpets, clicks-and-cuts and rhythmical micro-structures. Many tracks also adress dancefloor audience as minimal an dub techno elements are involved in these songs.
Emmerichk's Nebadon EP on Yuki Yaki offers Minimal House tunes with an edge. Crispy clicks and cuts garnish warm floating chords at cosy minor over a well composed layer of hypnotically pounding rhythms - never to fast to spoil the relaxed scenery.

Dawid Szczesny - Stapes VI-VII

The newest release on AudioTong comes from one of the most interesting young Polish musicians – Dawid Szczesny. His music is based on samples of old records, tapes and field recordings.

Szczesny’s debut album on Supralinear offshoot label of Mille Plateaux (“Unheard Treats”) was highly acclaimed by the magazines and listeners in whole Europe, the EP we’re presenting now on AudioTong is at least as fine as his previous releases.

Its ambient-like structure and feeling makes you want to press the ‘repeat’ button as soon as you start listening to the recordings.

These two pieces are continuation of a project started on an EP for (1.8)sec-records. They are all never-ending loops, created to be played live, with different timing, in different configurations.

Each of them might be listened either as a never ending loop or a finished piece itself.

The whole idea of using long, apparently simple loops, is to make a listener perceive each sound's repeatability and principle, which is different at every performance, depending - in some way - on accident.
