[AeMin010]Roland Black - At Home There

The introduction of Australian Roland Black was made very impressive at Audioexit. Their smooth minimal-tech pieces have a light funky and dubby tone like hot chocolate on an ice-cream. Although originals have lot of ideas, included remixes can add more to these works but in an other way. Mr.Rob’s (PCMN) At Home There remix leaves the harassed sound of original and makes stretchy with a bass carpet. Maurel’s live for Backlash has breakbeat and tech-house rhythm lifting the original composition to a more organic world, because the original is for listening oriented rather than dancefloor oriented.

Artist Profiles:

Oxynucid - http://www.myspace.com/oxynucid

A classically-trained musician with golden fingers, Oxynucid aka Dominick Schofield is fast making a name for himself in electronic music. Having spent 10 years playing keys in an electro-indie band that made it big, he left to ursue his solo career. Barely moments later, he signed to The Centrifuge and has released a string of acclaimed EPs and tracks, combining his electro tendencies and braindance influences to shape wondrous pieces of lush melodic electronics. You aren’t gonna see too many reel-to-reel players and Korg MS-10s on stage either – live electronics can be real, and Oxynucid’s sets have been the highlight of many of The Centrifuge's shows.

Mrs Jynx - http://www.myspace.com/mrsjynx

Mrs Jynx is from Manchester and recently released her acclaimed timeless electronica album “The Standoffish Cat” on Planet Mu. She loves mushroom soup, crisps, cheese and music. She also loves pork scratchings, The Faraway Tree, Gordon Ramsay, ‘Nighty Night’ & Julia Davis, Jeff Hardy, Ryan Gosling, Louis Theroux, ‘Most Haunted’, astronomy, sharks and cats.

ca293 - Orvonton - Pequenos Cuentos

Photobucket

“Pequenos cuentos” is a compilation of daily situations in a form of music & images that guide us into different roads and landscapes, where the relevacy is the world they create between them, and not why they are together? The cotidianity, the static, the loop, thoughts about the movement. Most of the pieces of the album I started some time ago but I left them incomplete, some of the pieces were retaken and drastically modified on their structure and composition, some others were less changed, but generally all of them kept their essence even though it has been aged by time. In this album I unconsciously work with less instrumentation, mainly because I try to leave the essence of the moment when I begin the song. …música y sus estancias …

Cat#: BP041
Date of release: 1 Aug, 2009
Styles: Ambient, IDM
Format: File, MP3, 320 kbps

After his "Un" released on Bypass #18, Mel returns to Bypass with his new "Noncompliance". Notes from Mel:

"Noncompliance" was produced in spring, 2009. "Intro" was recorded in a studio in June, 2009. Mel and friend "Junji" performed collaboration in a studio. Friend "Junji" plays the guitar in "Intro". The guitar sound of "Junji" is very unique.

All the tracks except "Intro" were produced by Mel alone. Mel produced ambient music characterized by a drone till now. However, in "Noncompliance", different approach is tried.

[xs-63] subterminal - filled with light

"Filled With Light" was composed and played almost entirely with an iPhone, with some extra sounds from other objects. After "Alumina" and "Insight", released in 2009, the reawakening of Subterminal is of happiness. "Filled With Light" is a great step forward when comparing with prior releases, which leads to the expectation of a very interesting conceptual album. Coupled with the refinement of his personal electronic universe, the author added a better voice treatment. The production of the EP was made by Tiago Morgado. ... to keep the eyes wide open.
