Garnering comparisons to Beirut, Elliott Smith, The Microphones, Leonard Cohen, Akron/Family, Neutral Milk Hotel, Stephin Merritt and Sufjan Stevens, he enthusiastically wrote the cheerful “City Kids” for Bad Panda (and Ty Williams curated the artworks). Boy Without God is the solo project of Boston native and multi-instrumentalist Gabriel Birnbaum, who at his young age has already passed through many musical outlets, from the violent power-electronics of Catholic Skin and the saxophone fronted spazz-rock of The Abraham Lincoln Brigade, to stints with Virgin Records new signing Eli Reed and blog-buzz darlings Drug Rug and a continuing membership in the campfire singalong folk-pop group The Tiny Tornadoes.

ladies and gentlemen, it has been incredible eight years since the music.massage show ended. it used to be a bimonthly magazine reviewing module music, old and new, of different genres. first run by AdaMM, later with quite a few guest stars. as i believe many of the modules are still worth a listen and more than a half of the links stopped working over the time, i repaired ALL download links, so for each song one of the links leads to skylined, where i uploaded each and every one of modules (some of them are otherwise totally lost). maybe there are still people who are going to enjoy this collection and might be happy to find these old music friends. also, if you want to get in touch with me and swap some old goodies (unavailable on scene.org), feel free to do so.

Stefano Ferrian plays guitars since the age of 9 studying various genres like Blues, Rock, Fusion, Funky and Avantgarde techniques. He's the former member of the Italian well known grindcore/experimental band .psychofagist. and he's active in various projects like Razoj, Udus and collaborates with many bands in the extreme music scene like Ephel Duath, The True Endless and in the folk project Skoll. After more that a decade playing in extreme/experimental bands he start studying Saxophones founding he's new Impro Trio FFATSO. He recorded or played live with musicians like Davide Tiso (Ephel Duath), Mario Gabola, Damo Suzuki, Stefano Giust, Dominik Gawara, Ivan Pilat and Luca T Mai (ZU).
