The Helian plan represents a vent channel in order to describe the chronic sadness that pervade every single day of the life, through the long depressive melodies of the guitars Danny has tried to give shape and sound to his feelings... 'Sad city' sounds as a little introspective journey in a sad grey mourning day which assist the (re)awakining of the sad city... the city which its dark palaces eats the light of the world. Four tracks between the guitars elements of Katatonia, the sadness of Anathema, the slow rhytm of Opeth and My Dying Bride with some Massive Attack influences!!!!!!

One of our most intricately stunning releases to date, the debut EP from Canada's adcBicycle is nothing short of astonishing; a joining of what seems like hundreds of various samples - from vocals to instruments to field recordings - and intensely complex, live instrumentation and improvisation lead to one of the most incomparable and original albums ever recorded. The pure genius and musicianship of the artist reaches out of every tune to wave a big smiling hello to every single listener. What else needs to be said? Nothing really; the music more than speaks for itself. This EP represents the first five tracks of what is actually adcBicycle's debut album, which will be released on Noise Factory Records in the coming weeks. We are certain that after listening through this first part of the album, you'll be dying for more.
"Dove fermano i treni" is a short story written through symbolism. Chiara's travel is a metaphor of a simple act, that is in its turn a sign of a corrput reality (ours), in which people (especially young people) are forced to run under fake and illusive covers. And still little would be enough to fight, because the weapons of this war are inside us, they are our heart and our dreams. I always say that Love is the heart's engine, and we live to love because its beats keep us alive. "Dove fermano i treni" wants to tell about Hatred inside Love, depicting the fact that they're not two different fellings, and that to hate means "to love the lack of love". The story has been inspired by the message that it's possible to really live only by loving, actively participating to events and facing them one after the other. Useless to care about what there will be after death, the important thing is live every moment and reach the end without regrets. Chiara realized this too late, and she'd like other people to avoid repeating the same mistake.

02.05.2006 [THN086] Gate Zero - Radio overBoard
FILE UNDER: Environmental Music
The common factor of it all is atmosphere, would it be a shattered one as in 'Take My Breath' or a more loungey as in 'Loop The Vibe'. Then Gate Zero adds minimalistic percussive elements placed on top of variable beats and unusual loop points. This melange of elements and the
short playing time of the tracks make it all to an interesting listening environment, where also classical instruments as the piano and guitar is utilized.

16.05.2006 [THN087] Unit 21 - September-October
FILE UNDER: Fragile Soviet Ambient Factory Dubs
The idea behind the September-October EP is in
sampling old (primarily early 80s) Soviet manufactured vinyl records (pop and jazz), then combining processed samples with 4/4 static techno. The song titles directly refer to the production dates as the tracks were composed in a period of joint performances with Sleepy Town Manufacture in Moscow.
(4 tracks - 28min 44sec - 40.47 MB)
23.05.2006 [APL037] Protogroup - Love Gives Strength To My Soul
FILE UNDER: Meditative Ambient Spheres
"Love Gives Strength To My Soul" is a continuous journey through emotions and spiritual experiences of the two russian composers. It uses harmonical sounds that climb up from the deep to get digitally chopped into pieces and fall back to the floor again. Carried with these sounds are samples from operas, movies and from chinese iron balls like in "Medisphere Gift Anastasia". The titles of the tracks refer to places, intimate thoughts and are sometimes a little bit encrypted to give them a foreign finish.
(10 tracks - 68min 12sec - 96.02 MB)
