Back in its minimal techno days for a new release, Edensonic is proud to gather in this EP two of the most promising talents of this genre. Pablo Akaros has emerged in the netlabel scene signing one of his first releases on the well known Karmarouge house. His sharp and groovy minmal techno make with no doubt a producer to follow. The easiest way to demonstrate that is to listen to the three tracks of the EP, and among them Mirko Punto with its peaktime break ! Jesse Somfay comes again on Edensonic with one of his long length and deep remixes. After having made him a respected name in music with his releases on Traum and Archipel, he has rencently been seen as cover-designer for James Holden's Border Community. Here, his interpretation of Mikro Punto shows all Jesse's talent to make a groovy but still very original and melancholic track.
We are very happy to announce a new ep from our favorite duo, Tang Kai ! They are back at camomille after taking some time to work on their upcoming album for apegenine recordings. Here they present 4 tracks of delicate and gentle sounds we've come to appreciate from mikael fyrek ( who's released a couple of great eps recently on Kahvi ) and jenny tang kai. Subtle, intricate beatwork breathes through jenny's superbly efficient and soulfull vocals. After a timid first contact, short online release on Zeromoon, sound artists Pablo Reche (Buenos Aires) and Ubeboet (Madrid) brings to us this second shared work which is a step beyond from that previous release and not a simple sequel of it. Lowercase oriented, drone based and almost constructed enterely from field recordings taken in Argentina and Spain, 'duae' represents an inner vision of post-industrial landscapes, isolated urban spaces, empty states of mind (full of distant echoes, the memory). Pablo Reche is one of the most known Argentinean sound artists nowaddays, an excellent noise maker and drone master working on experimental music since mid 90's; he has released in many labels around the world and performed in events as Sonar Festival (2000) and Mutek Festival (2005). Ubeboet is the artist moniker of madrid based sound artist Miguel Angel Tolosa; he has released on labels NonVisualObjects, Zeromoon, Earlabs and others; collaborative works with artists Dale Lloyd, Asher, Arturas Bumsteinas among others.
