Finally starts the new series Flos Acquae (a sub-series of Benekkea net/rec label) regarding the exeperimental music... not the same soup about electronics false experimentalism but a really strange and limited series regarding the new sounds. In fact Merde is a crazy strange exeperimental french band from a shit on the bottom of the sea who change the standard music concept in an improvisation, noise, toys, electro, free jazz navy which sails into the border ocean waves. Chaotic structured sounds of drums, mad vocals, hypnotic bass grooves, sad crazy trumpet... take us to trance dance remembering some Mike Patton, J. Zorn and Ecm works. Probably the best experimental net album of the year. (Benekkea)
[RC025] V.A. - Gama After more than 2 years of inactivity, Ronin Collective is back, and we wanted to do a special release for our return. Gama, a 24 track, 2hour compilation featuring Ronin members, guests and friends perfectly defining the eclecticism behind the Ronin style. You'll find everything ronin has been and more; returning members deliver yet again with a periphery of tones and styles from Blisaed's guitar-hop, to Wiseman's folk-psychadelia, to Benefit of the Boomerang's flaming jungle and V0idnull's goa epic. Also, two new official members to Ronin: recent guest-releaser Fah offers two incredible tracks, a 12 minute acid track and a gorgeous cinematic forray into analog ambient as outro to our comp, and Troupe, with a delicate indie-tronic track. Last, we also have a few great guests on the compil, including Nagz with his enchanting demo-breaks, Le Monsieur Baguette's naive melodies and glitchy love, Kevin Chow's orchestral masterpiece, Beatslaughter's two contributions to the world of breakbeat and everything in between. Ranging from ambient, to hip-hop, through idm and to harsh noise, this compilation is a manifesto to our ideologies of creativity and individuality.

Later an excellent first album went out one month ago on the so excellent net label Givichy, mysterious Xena continues its social reintegration at Fresh Poulp. A new ep freshly conceived taking us between IDM, Glitch, Drum, Electro-hop and why not hip. Xena is not new on Fresh Poulp because at the time of her detention, and hidden under another nickname, she had offered a piece to Fresh Poulp on the first compilation Octopus One.

Tracks:
You Know Alex - Deep and driving bass in a track full of quirky little edits as well as pounding hits and stabs. Also some nice comb filter pads can be heard in the middle.
Find The Guy is mysterious and vague. Lots of sounds and percussions, screams and groans and a goa-like melody.
Fight The Future is a track based around pounding and gungy drums and bass, with distorted vocals all over - the psytrance version of punk .
Bolt From The Blue is a fast, driving and twisted dark tune with some goa touches.
About the artist:
Faxi Nadu music features hard and kicking psytrance/techno with a dark and sinister twist. Groovy horror tunes with a heavy dose of soundscapes, psychedelic effects, paranoid screams and groans - suitable for partying on the dance floor. Influenced by the b-movie culture and the horror and science fiction cultures - presenting a unique approach to dark psytrance. Groovy, pounding dark night-time trance music, as well as tracks with more than an ounce of good humor and "morning" melodica. At times mad and twisted, at times constructed and progresive, while always very psychedelic and atmospheric. Obvious Dark, Prog, Goa, Techno and Suomisaundi influences, with a distinct, personal feel - Faxi Nadu is sure to send your head bobbing, your feet moving, and put a big halloween pumpkin smile on your face.
