The latest Opus Magnum of Magical Unicellular Music was recorded on 08.08.08 (dauy of Russia-Georgia-Osetian war started) at "Snegiri" studio in Moscow. It implements not a regular groove only but a big architectural form of dynamic development created together with noise wizard Lampi from Minsk, famous Bimka from St-Petersburg, playing with his fingers on the naked electronics boards and Bad Seed on sax. A finest event in a Magical Unicellular Music so far.

after releasing karlheinz essl performance with klaus burger, we are releasing carlos perales, which is like a returning to the musical orientations of electroacoustic avant garde music, but this time in fixed media (acousmatic) support. and in this sense we are happy because we are doing things each step to make the music we release reaching as many people as possible, and not to confine composers and musicians to their own home studio. we can say that we are as happy to release perales as we were happy to release poros or essl. and we cannot speak as well of carlos music has he speaks, reason why we leave you his text about his his music written by himself.

Let's go back to 2006.
I used to hate my job, the dead-end brainless work.
Even more, I used to hate my commute.
An hour by subway what would take 20 minutes by car if I had owned one.
Everyday I walked to the subway, switching lines in town and took a 2nd line to the end.
I dreamed that one day the subway would take me past the last stop, just keep going.
Or maybe I would end up somewhere else, somewhere new.
Music was my salvation, my soundtrack, those two hours each day.
With or without music the commute was a score I listened to countless times.
On two occasions, for posterity, I recorded the commute.
Now it's 2009 and my life has changed so much.
I look back into the dust of times and accompany a soundtrack to those days of travel.
This was my commute.
The Process: Commute is an experimental concept album about commuting. The album is the length of my commute in 2006. I recorded my commute four times (2 out and 2 back), overlapping all four audio recordings into one 68 minute sound collage. This soundscape became the foundation of the composition and the subtle ambiance heard throughout Commute. Tones were designated to various sounds; watery piano for people & chimes, dulcimer drones for cars, drums for rain & subway tracks, low drones for subway cars, and synths for general ambient noise. The structure was entirely in the hands of the field recording collage. It was my conscious decision however to break Commute up into three sections. Each section represents a different leg of the commute (1 - The walk to the subway / 2 - The ride downtown / 3 - The 2nd line outbound).
Blue Awakening (aka Plastic Loopz) new EP is a lighter one than his other releases, eg. at Darkaudio Netlabel. These four tracks are for summer mood and every of them are based upon tech-house with a little bit of electro. They also operate with melodical trance elements. Summarized that, this EP is a great compilation, perfectly follow nowadays trends and suits among the tracks in similar genres.
The strongest aedeep release ever.

After the great response to the Himmelblau Pause Compilation from the netaudio scene last year, auflegware releasing the second part of Himmelblau Pause. On this compilation there are 17 artists and brings us a lot of different music styles e.g. House, Electronic and Techno.
This is music for sitting in the sunrise, for dreaming, the cigarette after or just for shaking your ass to the beat. That means just take a joyride to look up to the blue sky and enjoy.

In a craddle of human culture, deep in the heart of the black continent, people used to communicate with drums. Wars were brewing, battles were fought and many dawns have started with the beating of the drums.
Hear the drummer's beat, see his dawn, meet his soul and walk along his path. The drums are speaking to you... Can you hear them?
Remixing the 2nd Diggarama release done by DraCo so many years ago... Africa meets Asia rhythms with some african horns and women's moans. It was a challange back in the day, it really was. So after some years we've gathered to assamble a remixed edition of the Drummer's Soul. We took a step backward, disassembled the tracks into tiny pieces and started doing work all over again. The results was 4 different tracks... from dirty beats to movie aesthetics over to four to the floor techno rhythms reminding to oldschool detroit techno with wild outback atmospheres with final touch in the form of stomping techno hoolahoop.
Greg Surges, an US-based composer with a Bachelor of Fine Arts with Honours in composition and music technology, creates both electroacoustic and contemporary classic works that incorporate improvisations, algorithms, instructions for sound manipulation and open forms with variable passages. An introduction to these concepts provides his first album for the Petcord netlabel, Solid State with three works, one of these in two different versions (hence the total of four tracks).
Swarm, the opener, can be considered an experiment in technology with distinct sections that tries to avoid ambient drone stereotypes and opts for unrest instead and uses the positioning of sound (panning) as part of the composition, too. Solid State, is a work for a laptop ensemble and a piano solist, whose input is used as "raw source" that is further processed by the participants until a solid state of uniform sonority is reached. 153 x 56, a work for traditional instruments, utilises variable elements that rely on the participants' imagination and creativity and and can lead at times to entirely different results, as the two versions included on the release demonstrate.
